The kit is meant for trapezoid steel roof structures. We recommend a qualified structural engineer assess the strength of your structure. To leak-proof your installation, use the rubber seals supplied with SolarShop’s L-Feet kit. Depending on the slope of your roof, you can improve the seal by adding appropriate sealant adhesives. Also way use the appropriate self driving screw depending on the roof members. SolarShop will supply you with either the self-driving screws for wood-purlings or the self-drilling steel screws.
