Description

Fronius Symo 17.5-3-M Lite is a 17.5 kW three-phase inverter, part of the transformerless SnapINverter portfolio. This “Lite” model provides the essential high-performance features for commercial and larger residential systems while offering flexibility for communication setup, as it comes prepared for but does not include a pre-installed WLAN module.

Key Features

• Dual MPPT Trackers: Two independent Maximum Power Point Trackers provide design flexibility for complex roof layouts with different orientations or partial shading.

• SuperFlex Design: A wide DC input voltage range (200 – 1000 V) supports high-voltage PV strings and allows for significant oversizing of the PV array.

• SnapINverter Technology: Modular design separates the connection compartment from the power unit, enabling faster installation and easier servicing where only the power stage set needs removal.

• Communication Ready: The “Lite” version is prepared for adding a WLAN module later and includes interfaces like Ethernet (LAN), USB, and RS485 for monitoring and integration.

• Integrated Safety: Features DC insulation measurement, DC disconnector, reverse polarity protection, and prepared for arc fault circuit interruption (AFCI) to enhance system safety.
