Fronius Ohmpilot 9.0-3 is an intelligent heating power controller that turns excess solar energy into free hot water. It uses surplus photovoltaic power that would otherwise be fed into the grid, allowing you to maximize self-consumption, reduce electricity costs, and increase energy independence.

• Continuously Adjustable Power Regulation: Features stepless, intelligent regulation from 0 to 9 kW of heating power, ensuring even the smallest amounts of surplus energy are used efficiently.

• Versatile Heating Applications: Primarily controls heating elements in boilers and buffer tanks for hot water but can also power infrared heaters or towel radiators. This can cover most of a family’s hot water needs from spring to summer/autumn.

• Smart Grid Protection: Includes dynamic feed-in limitation (≥ 50%) to protect the grid and allows coordination with other heat sources like gas heaters or heat pumps.

• Easy Installation & Robust Design: Simple commissioning via a dedicated website and WLAN communication. The housing has a protection class of IP54, making it dust-protected and water-resistant.

System Requirements: The Ohmpilot is compatible with all Fronius inverters but requires a Fronius Datamanager 2.0 and a Fronius Smart Meter for operation.
