Megatank 1kWh 12V lithium battery is the sweet middle size that a lot of Kenyans go for when they’re running 24V inverters (common in small homes, shops, or gate systems) and want something way better than lead-acid. It’s a proper LiFePO4 pack – 25.6V nominal × 75Ah – giving you a solid 1.92 kWh usable without the weight, maintenance, or short life of lead-acid. People here use it for 24V hybrid inverters, borehole controllers, CCTV backups, or even small off-grid cabins. It’s light (around 16–18 kg), charges fast from solar, and the built-in BMS keeps everything safe. Some come with Bluetooth so you can check SOC and health from your phone. It’s a drop-in replacement for two 12V batteries in series, but lasts 5–8× longer and doesn’t mind deep discharges. Great value if you’re stepping up from lead-acid without jumping straight to a full 48V system.
